Genus. in 1888 in the Novogulbenskaya vol. Valksky u. Livland province; Latvian; member of the CPSU (b) in 1904-1937. Director of the Baltic Shipping Company. Lived in Leningrad, st. Stachek, 43 (now 23), apt. 24. Arrested 12/03/1937. On January 11, 1938, the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR was sentenced under Art. Art. 58-1a-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on January 18, 1938. He was rehabilitated by the decision of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR of 05/09/1957.
09/10/2017 at house number 23 on Stachek Street (the so-called "House of Specialists") in memory of Kaulin A.Ya. a personal memorial sign was installed as part of the Last Address project.
