Genus. in 1893 in the city of Kirzhach. Worker by profession, mechanic. Secondary education, graduated from Vocational School. In 1914–1918 served in the Baltic Fleet. From 1918 to 1922 in the Red Fleet, on the Volga. Since 1922, he was engaged in party educational work. Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1919. Before his arrest, he was the head of the ORPO of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Arrested on July 5, 1937, on charges of espionage and counter-revolutionary activities. Sentenced by the visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on November 29, 1937 to VMN. Shot in Leningrad on November 29, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on September 22, 1956.
