Kovalsky Victor Voitsekhovich
Born in 1890 in Kronstadt; Polish; no name. Worked as a senior designer at Central Design Bureau No. 18 of Plant No. 189 named after Ordzhonikidze. Lived in Leningrad, Polozov Street, Building 11, Apt. 13. Arrested on May 11, 1937. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office on October 14, 1937, under Article 58-1a-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Executed on October 18, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on July 27, 1957.
On October 28, 2018, a personal memorial sign was installed on house No. 11 on Polozovaya Street in St. Petersburg in memory of V.V. Kovalsky as part of the Last Address project.
