Dyakonov Mikhail Alekseevich
Genus. in 1885 in Tomsk; Russian; b/p; Higher education: graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. In 1910-1918 he worked at the Azov-Don Bank in St. Petersburg, then at the People's Bank; in 1920-1921 - employee of the State Publishing House; in 1921-1926 and 1928-1929 he worked at the Soviet trade mission in Norway, then at Exportles; headed the publishing house of the Arctic Institute, worked at the publishing house "Academia". Member of the USSR Writers' Union. In 1938 he lived in Leningrad, st. Skorokhodova (now Bolshaya Monetnaya St.), 9, apt. 24. Arrested on March 13, 1935 on charges of belonging to the SOE; released due to lack of incriminating information on March 14, 1935. Arrested again on March 31, 1938. Sentenced by the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO on October 15, 1938 under Art. 58-6, 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to the VMN. Shot in Leningrad on October 22, 1938. Rehabilitated in the 1938 case by VT LVO 04/20/1956.
03/27/2016 at house No. 9 on Bolshaya Monetnaya Street in St. Petersburg in memory of Dyakonov M.A. A personal memorial sign was installed as part of the "Last Address" project.
