Kondratiev Fedor Andreevich
Born in 1914 in the settlement of Torkovichi, Oredezhsky District, Leningrad Region; primary education. Participant in the Great Patriotic War from June 23, 1941 to December 13, 1945. Lived in Leningrad. Worked as a 7th-category turner at Plant No. 24. Arrested on April 31, 1947. Reason for arrest: cursed the Soviet government, praised Swedish equipment. The entire shift was arrested for scratching Stalin's portrait*. Sentenced under Article 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Served his term in the Kargopol Corrective Labor Camp. Played the trumpet in the camp theater. Released in October 1954. After his release, he worked as a turner at the Krasnaya Zarya plant.
