Matskevich Boris Petrovich
Born in 1884 in St. Petersburg; Russian; secondary specialized military education - graduated from the Aleksandrovsky Cadet Corps in 1904, the Pavlovsk Military School in 1910. Participant in World War II, staff captain. Worked as a technician-designer at the Institute for the Design of Refractory Industry Plants. Lived in Leningrad, Kuznechny per., bldg. 8, apt. 3. Arrested on 03/08/1935. Sentenced by the resolution of the Special Conference under the NKVD of the USSR dated 03/14/1935 to exile from Leningrad to Atbasar city, Akmola region for 5 years. Arrested on March 3, 1938 by the Atbasar RO NKVD. Sentenced on August 29, 1938 by the NKVD of the USSR under Art. 58-10, 58-6 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Rehabilitated by the TurkVO on June 1, 1960.
On May 22, 2022, a personal memorial sign was installed at house No. 8 on Kuznechny Lane in St. Petersburg in memory of B.P. Matskevich as part of the Last Address project.
