Nechaev Alexey Sergeevich
Born in 1878 in Dresden; Russian; from the nobility; no p. Sea captain until 1909, translator in the port, since 1935 secretary of the marine inspection of the BMP, since July 1937 unemployed. Disabled (walked on a prosthesis) . Lived in Leningrad, Fontanka embankment, bldg. 22, apt. 16. Arrested on 03/27/1938. Sentenced on 06/18/1938 . By the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR under Art. 58-1a-8-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. The sentence was not executed. He died in the Leningrad Regional Hospital for Investigative Prisoners on 14.05.1938, a month before the death sentence.
At the Bogoslovskoye Cemetery (Klinicheskaya Path), next to the grave of his wife, a cenotaph was erected.
