Prokofiev Boris Grigorievich
Born in 1899 in Vyatka; Russian; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1919–1935. Graduated from the Tula Commercial School and the Department of Marxism-Leninism at the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Senior lecturer at the Military Electrotechnical Academy. Lived in Leningrad, Sovetsky Prospekt, Bldg. 39, Apt. 13. Arrested on 10 February 1935. Sentenced on 10 February 1935 by a Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR for “assisting the counterrevolutionary Zinoviev group” to 3 years of exile. Sentenced on 17 April 1937 by a Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR for “counterrevolutionary Trotskyist activity” to 5 years in a correctional labor camp. Imprisoned in Sevvostlag (Kolyma). On 10 April 1938, the NKVD troika for Dalstroi sentenced him to capital punishment for “counterrevolutionary activity”. He was executed on 28 April 1938. He was rehabilitated in April 1956.
