The collection was prepared on the basis of materials from the international scientific and practical conference “Siberian Polonia: Past, Present, Future”, which took place in Tomsk on May 20-23, 1999. Various aspects of the life and activities of Poles in Siberia, their interaction with the local population, their contribution to the socio-economic and scientific development of Siberian regions, as well as the process of reviving the Polonium movement are examined.
The book is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the history and culture of Siberia, its relationship with Poland and the Poles over a long historical period.
