Born in 1903 in Lukoyanov, Nizhny Novgorod Governorate, from the nobility; German; higher education. From the 1920s he worked as a civil engineer. In 1930-1937 - in managerial positions: chief engineer of special works at the construction of the Gorky Automobile Plant, and at other large construction sites. In 1938 - director of the Santekhnika plant. Lived in Moscow, Novaya Basmannaya St., bldg. 16, apt. 29. Arrested in 1938. Sentenced on 28.10.1938 by the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR under Art. 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 8 years in a labor camp. In prison in Solikamsk - Bumstroy, Usollag. He worked in logging, in timber harvesting, and later as an engineer at NKVD construction sites in Solikamsk and Bereznyaki. In 1941, in   travel camp point of the 3rd department of the NKVD Usollag . Arrested on 30.10.1941. Sentenced on 21.03.1942 on charges of anti-Soviet agitation to capital punishment with replacement by 10 years of imprisonment. In 1946 he was transferred to a labor camp for the construction of an automobile plant in the city of Kutaisi, Georgian SSR, in 1949 he was sent to the labor camp in Rustavi. He died in prison on 12.04.1950, buried in Rustavi. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Court of the USSR on 05.11.1955.
