Egunov Andrey Nikolaevich
In 1938, after exile, deprived of his Leningrad registration, he settled in Novgorod; in 1940 he began teaching Latin and Greek at the university, coming to Leningrad for a few hours. In 1942, during the occupation of the Novgorod region, he became the head of the Novgorod department of public education. I ended up in Germany, in Neustadt. In 1945-1946 taught German in Soviet tank units in Berlin. On 09/25/1946 he fled to the American sector, was extradited by the Americans, and on 12/13/1946 he was sentenced by the Military Tribunal of the 8th Guards Army under Art. 58-1 "a" to 10 years in the camps. He served his sentence in Western Siberia and Kazakhstan. After rehabilitation in 1956, he returned to Leningrad, worked at the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology at the Lomonosov Museum, then at the Pushkin House. Died in 1968. Rehabilitated by the Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg on July 20, 1992.
