Sinev Grigory Avraamovich
Director of the Northern Railways (1932-1933), Head of the October Railway (1936), Deputy People's Commissar of Railways
Born November 17, 1894 in the village of Tomakovo, Vereiskaya volost, Ryazan province; graduated from high school in 1910. From 1911 he worked on the railroad. Director of the Northern Railways (1932-1933), head of the October Railway (1936), transferred from Leningrad to Moscow, appointed Deputy People's Commissar of Railways. D elegate to the 17th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) January 26, 1934-February 10, 1934. Was a member of the Council of People's Commissars of Railways. Awarded the Order of Lenin on April 4, 1936. Arrested on December 3, 1937 in Moscow. Accused of leading an anti-Soviet, right-wing Trotskyist, sabotage and wrecking organization on the October Railway. Died during the investigation on 16.02.1938.
