A resident of Tomsk. A prisoner of the Gulag from 1957 to 1960.
Born in 1932 in the village of Vorontsovo, Soshikha District, Pskov Region. His father, Ivan Panteleevich Panteleevich, was repressed in 1937. By 1957, he lived in Baku and worked as a technician for the Baku expedition of the Gidrorybproekt Institute. He was arrested in Baku on November 24, 1956, and charged with compiling "anti-Soviet documents." On July 20, 1957, the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan SSR sentenced him to 7 years' imprisonment in a correctional labor camp under Article 72, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan SSR. He served his sentence in Dubravlag (Yavas settlement, Zubovo-Polyansky District, Mordovian ASSR). By the Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR dated April 28, 1960, the term was reduced to 3 years and 6 months. Released on May 24, 1960. Lived in Tomsk and was a member of the Memorial society.
