On November 22, 1937, the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR sentenced him to capital punishment under Article 58-7-9-10-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Shot in Leningrad on November 27, 1937. Rehabilitated posthumously by the Armed Forces of the RSFSR on May 24, 1958.
