Since 1925, after graduating from school, she worked as a waiter in a private coffee shop in the city of David-Haradok. Since 1927 she lived in the USSR. She worked as an accountant's assistant for about 4 years. Since 1932 - student at LEMI (since 1934 - at the electro-mechanical faculty of the Leningrad Industrial Institute). Since 1934, after her husband was expelled from Leningrad, she was under close supervision at the institute. Described as politically unreliable and expelled from the union in 1936 for ignoring public events. After defending his thesis project on June 24, 1938, he went to one of the chemical plants in Leningrad. Arrested on July 5, 1938, before she could register for work; sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD for the Leningrad Region dated October 31, 1938. to exile for 5 years in Kazakhstan; worked as an electrical engineer at the station.
