Genus. in 1903 in Kursk. Higher education, journalist. Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1919. Executive editor of the Red Newspaper, director of the Intourist Institute. Arrested in 1937. Sentence: 10 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in Kolyma: the “Tumanny” and “Partizan” mines. Rehabilitated posthumously by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on March 28, 1957.
