Born in 1888 in the village of Peskovo, Smolensk province; Russian; from peasants; basic education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1913. People's Commissar of the Food Industry of the USSR. Lived in Moscow, Krivokolenny Lane, Bldg. 16, Apt. 16.   Arrested on 21.06.1937. Sentenced on 29.10.1937 by the Military Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization to capital punishment. Shot on 30.10.1937 in Moscow, burial place - Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 14.03.1956.
