First Secretary of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the Komsomol (October 1937 - November 1938), Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR
Born in 1907 in Zhlobin; Jewish; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks); incomplete secondary education. Secretary of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the Komsomol, deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. Lived in Leningrad, 8th Sovetskaya St., Building 9/13, Apt. 28. Arrested on 12/01/1938. Sentenced by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 26/02/1939 on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization. Shot on 26/02/1939 in Moscow. Burial place: Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated VK Armed Forces of the USSR 05/24/1956.
03/27/2016 at house No. 9/13 A personal memorial sign was installed on 8th Sovetskaya Street in St. Petersburg in memory of A.I. Lyubin as part of the "Last Address" project.
