Morozov Alexander Grigorievich
Genus. in 1892 in St. Petersburg. He worked since 1924 at the Ostekhbyuro as a leading design engineer (head of the design team). In March 1936 he was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. Arrested in September 1936, accused of criminal connections with the “enemy of the people” M.P. Tomsky. On December 22, 1936, the Leningrad Regional Court sentenced him to 4 years in prison, his wife to 2 years, followed by loss of rights for 2 years, and his 19-year-old daughter, a medical student, to deportation to Northern Kazakhstan. Both were transported to Kolyma. In the spring of 1939 he was sent to Moscow and assigned to the Bolshevsky Design Bureau, where he worked under the leadership of Tupolev. Soon transferred to Leningrad, to the Military Shipbuilding Design Bureau. Released on September 28, 1940. Worked with the North-Western Regional Shipping Company system. Arrested again in 1949. Sentenced to 7 years in prison. In custody in Taishet, Irkutsk region.
