Genus. in 1903 in St. Petersburg, from the nobility, b/p. He studied at Petrograd University and worked as a metal turner at the Elektrosila plant. Arrested in September 1935. Sentenced to 3 years in labor camp, served at BBK. After the second arrest, he was sent to Kotlas for logging, released after 2 years. Volunteered for the Finnish war. Drafted into the army on June 22, 1941. Missing in October 1941
