Lived in Leningrad (Saperny lane, 14, apt. 15). Arrested 07/05/1941. Sentenced by the resolution of the OS NKVD of the USSR dated September 18, 1943 under Art. 58-1a to 5 years in labor camp. From 1943 he worked in a "sharashka" on the Entuziastov highway in the "Chemical Department" of the 4th Special Department of the NKVD of the USSR. Released on 07/05/1946. From 1946 to 1963 he worked at the Institute of Synthetic Rubber in Leningrad, from 1963 - at the All-Russian Research Institute of Petrochemical Processes. In 1967 he was awarded Lenin Prize. Rehabilitated on May 21, 1955 by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces. Member of the Memorial Society since 1988. Died in St. Petersburg in 1997.
