Nikitinsky Alexander Iosifovich
Mechanic at the Krasnaya Zarya plant
Born November 3, 1913 in St. Petersburg, in a family of teachers. After graduating from high school, he unsuccessfully tried to enroll in the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute. In order to achieve his goal, he enrolled as a student of the workers' faculty at the Leningrad Machine-Building Institute and worked at the experimental plant of the Physics and Technology Institute. In 1931 he was enrolled in the Leningrad Machine-Building Institute. After the murder of S. M. Kirov, he expressed doubts about the involvement of the executed LII students in the case. Based on a denunciation by the party cell of the academic group, by order of February 16, 1935, he was expelled from the institute "for counter-revolutionary propaganda". After expulsion - a mechanic at the Krasnaya Zarya plant. In 1936 he was reinstated at the institute. By order of the LII dated November 2, 1937, he was again expelled from the 5th year "for not showing up for classes for more than two months." In 1937 he lived in Leningrad, Staropargolovsky pr., bldg. 29, apt. 7. He was arrested on 25.06.1937. Sentenced on 09/08/1937 by the Troika of the NKVD for the Leningrad Region under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in a correctional labor camp. Imprisoned in Kargopollag from 04.10.1937. Escaped, went missing. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 22.12.1956.
