Ozolinsh Oyar Alfredovich
Born ca. 1930; Latvian. Sentenced in 1950 by the NKVD Special Security Service to 10 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in a camp in Karaganda (Mikhailovka railway station) and at the Dzhezkazgan Mine (PO Box 392-1/2). Released in 1956, returned to Latvia. In 1990, a collection of poems by Latvian prisoners of the Dzhezkazgan Mine, "Migratory Birds," was published, along with his recollections.
