Born in 1912. Graduated from the workers' faculty in 1939 and entered the 1st Leningrad Medical Institute named after I.P. Pavlov. Volunteered for the front in his 2nd year and went through the entire war. In 1945 he was transferred with the army to the Far East. Arrested on 10.10.1945 in Port Arthur. Sentenced by the Military Tribunal of the 39th Army under Article 58-10/2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years' imprisonment and 3 years' disenfranchisement. Imprisoned in Northern Sakhalin. Released in 1952.   He was rehabilitated in 1955. In 1959 he graduated from medical school.   He worked as an emergency physician and therapist until 1989.
