Pobedinsky-Veremey Nikolay Stepanovich

Reproduction methods:
Genus. in 1898 in the village. Kovaltsy of the former Vilna province, Poland, Belarusian. Higher education - Prague Electrotechnical Institute (1922-1928). From 1919 to 1922 - member of the Belarusian Revolutionary Organization, member of the KPZB. In 1922 he went to study in Czechoslovakia, and in 1929 he returned to Poland. Due to persecution by the Polish authorities, he left for the USSR on 03/09/1931 and was recognized as a political emigrant on 06/13/1931. The manager worked department of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute (according to other sources - deputy director). Arrested by the OGPU PP for the BSSR on August 16, 1933, on charges of espionage for Poland. Convicted by the decision of the OGPU Collegium of January 19, 1934 to 10 years in labor camp. While serving his sentence, he was convicted by a resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor of October 10, 1937 to the VMN for conducting anti-Soviet agitation among prisoners. Rehabilitated in 1956
