Genus. in 1876 (1873?) in the city of Kineshma, Ivanovo region, in the family of a priest. Graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy. Since 1921 - Bishop of Kineshma, vicar of the Krstrom diocese; from 1926 - Bishop of Vyaznikovsky, vicar of the Vladimir diocese. In 1923 and 1933 sentenced for anti-Soviet activities to 2 years of deportation and 5 years of imprisonment. 11/06/1943 arrested again. OS under the NKVD of the USSR dated 07/01/1944 under Art. 58-10 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR was exiled to the Krasnoyarsk Territory for a period of 5 years. Rehabilitated on August 23, 1989.
