Born 12.10.1907 in Lisichansk, Bakhmutsky district, Yekaterinoslav province, Jewish. Engineer. Lived in Leningrad (Kirochnaya street, bldg. 52, apt. 17). Arrested 06.03.1936. Sentenced by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court on 19.07.1936 under Art. 58-10, 11 to 5 years in a labor camp, followed by deprivation of rights for 5 years and confiscation of property. Imprisoned in Norillag. After his release, he worked as a senior research fellow at the Karaganda branch of the All-Union Scientific Research Coal Institute. Convicted by the Special Conference of the MGB of the USSR on 27.05.1950 under Art. 58-10, part 1 and 58.11. of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By the decision of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated 15.02.1958, the sentence was overturned and the case was closed "due to lack of evidence of the charges brought."
