Rosenzweig Grigory Lvovich
Born in 1899 in Vyazma, Smolensk region; Jewish; from the bourgeoisie; higher education; no n. Head of the traumatology department of the Medsantrud hospital , associate professor at Moscow State University. An experienced mountaineer, a doctor in all of N.V. Krylenko’s expeditions, including the first Soviet Pamir expedition of the RSL. Lived in Moscow, Telegrafny per., bldg. 9, apt. 12. Arrested on 10.02.1938. Sentenced on 23.03.1938 by the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor’s Office on charges of belonging to a counter-revolutionary terrorist and espionage organization and preparing terrorist acts against the leaders of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and the Soviet government to capital punishment. Shot on 7.04.1938 in Moscow. Burial place: Butovo. Rehabilitated on 02.10.1989.
