Sablin Georgy Viktorovich

Genus. in 1906 in the family of the head of the locomotive department of the Putilov plant Sablin V.L. In 1923 he entered the mechanical faculty of the Leningrad Technological Institute. Lensovet, which he graduated in 1930. He worked at the Leningrad Research Institute of Industrial Transport, at the Leningrad Mechanical Engineering Institute. In 1941, after the start of the Great Patriotic War, he joined the militia, was captured, and worked in the occupied territory. After the end of the war, he did not return home, was convicted and was imprisoned in Norilsk. He served his sentence in a camp, then worked in the BAF office as an engineer. He returned to Leningrad in 1947. In 1951 he was convicted under Art. 58 1B of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 10 years in prison. Released in 1955 with his conviction expunged. From 1947 to 1950 worked as a senior engineer at the Leningrad branch of the All-Russia Research Institute of Construction and Road Engineering.
Died in 1984.
