Sapelkov Leonid Ivanovich
Born in 1882 in Kharkov, Russian, non-party member, lived in Germany in 1904-1914, worked for Telefunken, then at the Kozitsky Plant, freelance expert for the Inventions Committee under the People's Commissariat of Defense Industry. Lived in Leningrad (Tolmazov Lane, Building 7, Apt. 10). Was arrested in 1926. Arrested again on March 21, 1938. By the resolution of the Special Department of the NKVD of the Leningrad Region dated October 14, 1938, sentenced under Article 58-6-10-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. The sentence was not executed. By the resolution of the Special Department of the NKVD of the USSR dated November 10, 1939, sentenced to 5 years in a correctional labor camp. In custody in the Komi ASSR, he died on November 8, 1941. Rehabilitated on 12.11.1966 by the Leningrad Military District.
