Sapozhnikov Rostislav Alekseevich
Born in 1905 in Yekaterinoslav; higher education. In 1926, he lived in Leningrad. Student lecturer. Arrested on 04/09/1926. Released from custody on 05/17/1926, case closed. In 1945, he lived in Leningrad. Head of the Lighting Engineering Department at V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin) Electrotechnical University. Arrested on 02/13/1945. Sentenced by the Leningrad Region NKVD troops on 05/23/1945 under Art. 58-1a, 10, part 2, 11 to 10 years' imprisonment and 5 years' disqualification with confiscation of property. Spent 7 years in solitary confinement. In prison - senior engineer of OKB-172 (Leningrad, "Kresty"); In 1952 he was transferred to Moscow, leading engineer of the enterprise P.O. Box No. 1323. He was released on February 5, 1954. In 1955-1970 he was the head of the department of automatic devices design at the Leningrad Military Mechanical Institute; in 1970-1980 he was a professor of the department of mathematics and computer engineering at the Moscow Technological Institute of Light Industry. He was secretly tonsured. He died in Moscow in 1991; he was buried at the Vagankovskoye Cemetery. He was rehabilitated in the 1945 case of the Leningrad Military Military District on June 27, 1955.
