Born in 1896 in Baku; Russian; candidate for membership in the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since December 1939. In naval service since 1913. Head of the Department of Naval Educational Institutions of the Navy, Rear Admiral. Arrested on July 8, 1941 "as a participant in a counter-revolutionary conspiracy in the navy (Article 58-1 "b" of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR)". While under investigation in Sukhanovskaya Prison, he died on September 19, 1951. Rehabilitated on November 1, 1954.
