Head of the Directorate of Naval Educational Institutions of the Navy, Rear Admiral. Arrested on 07/08/1941 "as a participant in a counter-revolutionary conspiracy in the navy (Article 58-1 "b" of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR)." While under investigation in Sukhanovskaya prison, he died on September 19, 1951. Posthumously rehabilitated on November 1, 1954.
