Semenov Petr Stepanovich
Design engineer at the Kirov plant
Born 09.08.1899 in the city of Gdov, St. Petersburg province; from peasants; graduated from a 3-year school. In 1912-1917 he was a printing house worker. In 1917-1923 he was a sailor in the Baltic Fleet, then again in a printing house in Leningrad. In 1931, after completing preparatory courses, he was a student at the VKTI. In 1936 he graduated from the power engineering faculty of the Flight Research Institute, specializing in "Steam turbines". Before his arrest, he was a design engineer at the Kirov Plant. Arrested on 01.06.1937. Sentenced by the resolution of the NKVD Commission and the Prosecutor of the USSR dated 09.09.1937 under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. He was executed on 28.09.1937.
