Genus. in 1898 in St. Petersburg, in the family of an employee. Since 1917 - student at the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute, fought in the Red Army during the Civil War. Member of the CPSU(b) since 1920. Since 1923 studied at the regional party school. In 1928 went to Gornaya Shoria, Novosibirsk region. In 1937 an order for his arrest was signed. He hid in Novosibirsk, then became legalized and worked as a school teacher. Arrested in 1948, transferred to Moscow, until 1953. was under investigation. After Stalin's death he was sent into exile in Ukhta. Worked at a cement factory. In 1955 released for health reasons and returned to Leningrad. Rehabilitated in 1956
