Genus. 10.26.1908 in the village. Konstantinovka, Ekaterinoslav province, in the family of an employee. In 1926, he graduated from high school in Leningrad as an external student, then worked as a laborer, riveter, and grinder at various factories. In 1928 - a student at the Ural Polytechnic Institute, in 1929 transferred to the Leningrad Mining Institute, and in 1930 to the LMI. By order of the institute dated December 17, 1931, he was expelled from the 4th year “for failure to attend classes since December 8.” In fact, it was on December 8, 1931 that he was arrested on charges that “being one of the leaders of the revolutionary organization “Independent Socialist Union”, he carried out extensive recruiting work, providing his apartment for meetings of the organization, and participated in the discussion of issues related to terrorist activities organizations." Sentenced by a resolution of the Kogpu dated March 21, 1932 under Article 58-11 to 10 years. Imprisoned in Temlag, since 1933 in the Vaygach expedition of the OGPU. In 1949, an employee of the oil shale chemical industry of the Estonian SSR. Rehabilitated on September 28, 1989.
