Genus. in 1907 in Old Peterhof in a family of workers, Finn, member of the Komsomol since 1922, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) from 1932 to 1938. Conscripted into the Red Army by special recruitment from the reserves of middle command personnel in 1935. He served as a military technician in NPO unit No. 4876 (formerly 31st mechanized brigade) in Stary Oskol, Leningrad region. In October 1937 expelled from the ranks of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) for his connection with a convicted engineer. In February 1938 transferred to 25th mech. regiment (Pskov). Arrested on June 28, 1938 by the Special Department of the 5th Mechanized Corps (Pskov). Convicted by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District on March 19, 1939. to 5 years of labor camp with loss of rights for 2 years. Served his sentence in the 4th separate Lagpunkt Oneglag NKVD Northern Railway, Arkhangelsk region, art. Puksa, PO Box No. 238/04. He died in custody in the Perm region. Rehabilitated in 1956
