Born on September 18, 1904 in St. Petersburg. Since 1919 he was a student at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Petrograd University. After graduating from the University, he worked as an employee of the State Public Library, then at the Main Chamber of Weights and Measures, at the State Hydrological Institute. Since 1928, he has been a teacher in higher education: associate professor at the university, assistant at Puteysky and associate professor at the Technological Institute. In 1930 he was transferred to VKTI, professor in the department of compressor engineering. Organizer of the compressor engineering laboratory at LII. In 1934-1941, part-time head. department at the Institute of Refrigeration Industry. In 1941, he was involved in the organization of a new aviation institute, head. Department of Aerodynamics and Propellers. Arrested 12/20/1941. Sentenced by the resolution of the Military Military District of January 13, 1942 under Article No. 58-3,10,11 to VMN. The sentence was changed to 10 years in prison. In conclusion, a specialist of the Special Design Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, head of special work in the field of aviation gas turbines. After his release he was sent to Karaganda. Doctorate degree awarded in 1963. Died 11/21/1968. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on May 28, 1955.
