Strikovsky Ivan Khristoforovich
Born in 1897; Latvian; from a peasant family; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks); higher education - Sverdlov Communist University (1924-1931), Narimanov Institute of Oriental Studies under the Central Executive Committee of the USSR (1933-1934). Worked as the head of the collection of the Central Anti-Religious Museum in Moscow. Sentenced by the resolution of the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR on 02.06.1938 to 8 years in a labor camp. He died in prison in Udmurtia in 1944. Rehabilitated by the resolution of the Presidium of the Moscow City Court on 20.01.1964.
