Definition: Soviet, Russian actress, star of the Moscow Music Hall, actress of the Satire Theater. People's Artist of Russia (1993).

Genus. in 1906 in Odessa. Actress. In September 1941, she left as part of a front-line concert brigade to the location of Rokossovsky’s army. The artists were surrounded, then captured by the Germans, and performed in the occupied territories. They retreated together with the German army to Berlin.
In November 1945 she returned to Moscow, where she was arrested. Sentenced by the USSR Ministry of State Security under Art. 58-3 (aiding the enemy) to 4 years in labor camp. She served her sentence in Vorkutlag (actress of the Vorkutstroy music and drama theater). Released on November 13, 1949. Until 1953 she worked at the Vorkuta Theater. Then she returned to Moscow.
