On October 14, 1938, a special troika of the UNKVD LO sentenced him under Art. Art. 58-6-9-11, 58-10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on October 21, 1938. (His brother Mikhail and cousin Alexey were shot at the same time, his brother Andrei was shot on 10/03/1938.) Rehabilitated by the Leningrad Military District on 07/08/1957.
