Born in 1895 in the village of Novy Peterhof (now a municipality within the city of St. Petersburg). Studied at the Technological Institute. In 1914 he was called up to the front. Wounded twice, he was awarded the Officer's Cross of St. George. In 1923 he married. Graduated from the Institute of Textile and Light Industry. Worked at the Krasnoe Znamya factory as a technical manager of the hosiery workshop, then as a senior engineer in the design bureau at the factory. By the resolution of the OS under the NKVD of the USSR dated March 23, 1935, he was exiled with his family to the village of Ruzayevka, Kokchetav district, Kazakh SSR, where he worked as a technician in the road department. On January 6, 1936 he was arrested to testify at the trial of the workers of the Krasnoe Znamya factory. In Leningrad, he was sentenced to 8 years in a labor camp. He served his sentence in the Komi ASSR, where he worked as chief engineer on a road construction site. In early 1941, he was transferred to Moscow for a review of his case, where he was held in Butyrka prison; then he was transported to the Saratov region. On October 10, 1941, he was sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Tribunal of the NKVD troops of the Saratov region and by the determination of the Military Collegium of November 4, 1941. He was executed on November 21, 1941. His burial place is unknown. On June 30, 1959, he was rehabilitated in the 1936 and 1941 cases; on October 5, 1959 - in the 1935 case.
