Born 23.11.1896 (according to other sources, in 1895) in Latvia; Latvian; former member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Instructor in the Submarine Training Detachment of the Red Banner Baltic Fleet, captain of the 3rd rank, demobilized in 1936. Lived in Kronstadt. Arrested on 27.01.1938. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR on 14.04.1938 under Art. Art. 58-6-9-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on 26.04.1938.
