Genus. in 1913 in Zhitomir. Arrested 02/11/1938. Sentenced by the VT LVO on 09/07/1938 on charges of participation in the youth wing of the “Progressive Party”. Sentenced to 8 years in labor camp and 3 years of disqualification. In December 1938 he was delivered to Medvezhyegorsk, in January 1939 he was returned to Leningrad, the period for reviewing the case was reduced to 5 years. In custody in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Released in June 1944. Member of the Memorial Society since 1994. Author of memoirs. Died in St. Petersburg on February 20, 2012.
