Arnautov Evgeny Nikolaevich
Born in 1903 in the village of Kreman, Latvia (according to the house register - in the city of Plavsk, Tula province). Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Civil Engineers (1928). Worked as chief engineer and head of the 215th section of military construction works in the city of Ostrov. Lived in Leningrad (Krasnoy Konnitsy St., bldg. 21, apt. 43). Arrested on 20.07.1937. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court on 25.01.1938, by the determination of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 21.06.1939 the sentence was replaced by 15 years in the camps and 5 years of disqualification. In prison from 20.07.1937 to 19.01.1952 in Ukhta, the last 2 years - in Vorkuta. After his release, he remained in Vorkuta, where he worked until his retirement. He was rehabilitated by the decision of the Criminal Cases Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 17.11.1956 due to the absence of corpus delicti. He died in 1986 in Leningrad.
