By the verdict of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Leningrad City Court dated May 4, 1941, he was charged under Art. 58-10, part 1 (anti-Soviet propaganda), sentenced to 7 years in prison followed by loss of rights for 3 years.
