Born in 1905 in St. Petersburg. In 1930 he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at LPI. B/p. From 1929 until his arrest - head of the research laboratory group at the Leningrad experimental plant "Neftegaz". 07/10/1938 arrested with a group of colleagues. He was accused of participating in a counter-revolutionary sabotage organization operating at the All-Russia Research Institute Neftekhim. He was held in the Internal Prison of the NKVD of the Leningrad Region. In the spring of 1939, the Revolutionary Tribunal of the LVO returned the case for further investigation. On August 29, 1940, he was released “due to the termination of the case.” From the spring of 1941 until the start of the war, he worked at the Institute of Chemical Physics of the Academy of Sciences. In July 1941 he was drafted into the army, mobilized in 1945. He worked as a group leader at the research laboratory of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute Neftekhim until retirement.
