Born in 1900 in Metz (Germany); German; Tool maker, worked at the Elektroapparat plant. Lived in Leningrad. Arrested on July 29, 1937 by the UNKVD for the Leningrad Region on charges of espionage under Art. 58-6, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, released from custody by the Decree of the military prosecutor of the Leningrad Military District dated September 23, 1939 “for lack of corpus delicti,” the case was dismissed, deprived of citizenship. Arrested for the second time on August 29, 1941 by the NKVD in the Leningrad Region, charged under Art. 58-6 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, condemned by a resolution of the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR dated 08/19/1942 to 10 years in labor camp. Died in prison in Novosibirsk on June 3, 1942. Rehabilitated according to the conclusion of the Military Prosecutor of the Leningrad Military District dated July 31, 1989.
