Born in 1886 in the village of Kalininki, Yuryevets district, Ivanovo province, into a priest's family. Higher education, graduated from the Kazan Theological Seminary. From 1911 he worked as a teacher of Russian, and from 1920 as a minister of religious worship. In 1926 he was arrested by the Ivano-Frankovsk (as in the document!) OGPU and sentenced to 3 years of exile. In 1930 he was arrested by the Syzran OGPU and sentenced to 3 years in a concentration camp under Article 58, paragraph 10 and paragraph 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR.
Lived in Kaluga, was the Archbishop of Kaluga. Marital status at the time of arrest: daughter Belyaeva Nina Aleksandrovna born in 1920, daughter Belyaeva Yulia Aleksandrovna born in 1916.
Belyaev, A. A., was arrested on September 20, 1937 by the Kaluga RO of the NKVD of the Moscow (now Kaluga) Region on the basis of Art. 58, paragraph 10 and paragraph 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By the decision of the troika of the NKVD of the USSR for the Tula Region dated November 19, 1937, on the basis of Art. 58, paragraph 10 and paragraph 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, he was sentenced to capital punishment (execution).
According to the conclusion of the Kaluga Region Prosecutor's Office dated July 15, 1989, Belyaev L.A., on the basis of Article 1 of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated January 16, 1989 "On additional measures to restore justice in relation to victims of repression that took place in the 1930s-40s and early 1950s", was rehabilitated.
