Genus. in 1896, in the Ruiensky volost of the Volmar district. Livland province; Latvian; non-partisan; Graduated from high school in Riga. Since 1914 – in the army, participated in the First World War. In 1916 He graduated from the Nikolaev Cavalry School, received the first officer rank of cornet, and was appointed to the position of junior officer of the 5th squadron of the 16th Irkutsk Hussar Regiment. 07/07/1916 shell-shocked Since the spring of 1917 served as part of the 3rd Petrograd Border Cavalry Division in Finland and held elected positions. Since April 1919 – assistant commander of the 7th Latvian Rifle Regiment, participated in battles with the White Guards on the territory of Latvia and Belarus, with Denikin’s troops near Orel and Kromy. At the end of 1919 wounded and declared unfit for service in combat units. Before his arrest, he worked as a tax inspector for the Plus district financial department. Lived in Luga Len. region, Bolshaya Inzhenernaya St., 31. Arrested on December 17, 1937. Charged under Art. 58-1a, 58-9, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR as a participant in the “Latvian counter-revolutionary organization”. Sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor's Office on January 11, 1938. to VMN. Shot on January 18, 1938. Burial place - Leningrad.
Rehabilitated on February 24, 1958. Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District “for lack of corpus delicti”
