Genus. in 1903 in Poltava. He graduated from the shipbuilding department of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1930. In 1934-1935 he was on a production trip to Italy to gain experience in designing cruisers. From 1934 to 1937 he was a candidate member of the CPSU (b), after his arrest he was expelled. In 1937, the chief builder of the cruiser "Kirov", Arrested on 05/12/1937, convicted by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District on 03/03/1938 under Article 5-6, Part. 1.58-7, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 20 years of labor camp, with loss of rights for 5 years. After his release from the camp, he was sent into exile in a settlement in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 1942-1946. on the White Sea he supervised the repair of American and English ships. Released from exile on September 24, 1955 in connection with the cancellation of the sentence of March 3, 1938 and the termination of the case by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated August 17, 1955. Main works: “New method of progressive testing of ship mechanisms” (1927), “Research on the launching of ships” (1929), “Experience in the construction of cruisers in Italy” (1937).
